Mr. Wiles has been married to Janet Wiles for over 27 years. Mr. and Mrs. Wiles have two grown sons: Frank Wiles, who is an Internet Consultant and Taylor Wiles who recently graduated from the University of Kansas, both live in Lawrence.
Mr. Wiles has just written a book titled: How to Solve the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. In this book, Mr. Wiles guarantees that if the Israelis and Palenstinians follow the procedures outlined in his book, and negotiate in good faith, Mr. Wiles guarantees that a peace treaty will ensue.
The number one issue for Kansans is the economy. A large number of jobs in Kansas and the Nation have been lost. This Country has lost over 500,000 jobs in December, 2008 and over 500,000 jobs in January, 2009. This Nation has lost approximately three million jobs in the last year. The Federal Government must adequately stimulate the Nation's economy to recover these lost jobs.
Since Kansas has such a large agriculture base, Kansas needs a U.S. Senator, who will aggressively promate Kansas agribusiness around this Country and around the World. Mr. Wiles will agreesively promote Kansas agribusiness in this Country and around the World.
Mr. Wiles believes that a peace treaty between the Israelis and Palenstinians would not only stabilize the Middle East, but also be beneficial to Americans, because Islamic Fundamentalism gets a lot of impetus from the Israeli-Paleestinian Conflict.
An Israeli-Palestinian Peace Treaty would make American safer, because the Islamic Fundamentalists would be less likely arouse Islamic Fundamentalists against the United State, if there was a Formal Peace Treaty between the Israelis and Palestinians.
The United States must always have adequate military might to protect the United States' interests at home and abroad.
This Country must take the lead in developing clean sources of energy and get this Country off this Country's dangerous dependence on foreign oil. It is estimated that this Nation sends approximately 700 billion to Nations around the World for foreign oil. We neec to develop cleaner forms of energy, such as Wind Power, Solar Power, Biofuels and other forms of clean energy.
Mr. Wiles will be a leader in promoting clean energy in this State and around the Country to rid ourselves of our heavy dependence on foreign oil.
